If you are taking a bus from other parts of Mindanao (such as Cagayan de Oro or General Santos), your point of entry into the city will be at Davao City Overland Transport Terminal-(Ecoland). This is in the south part of town. From Ecoland, there is a twenty-to-thirty-minute cab ride to the hotel-across Davao River. Driving one's own car to El Bajada is easy when it comes to finding the place-impossible to miss on the main road-but be ready for heavy traffic. J.P.Laurel Avenue gets massively congested during morning and evening rush hours (7:00-9:00 AM and 5:00-7:00 PM).
